2020.05.06 Maritime Personnel Training Service and GWO Headquarters jointly conducted a webinar to share how the University of Science and Technology in response to the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19)



The Maritime Training Center of our University is the only unit in the country dedicated to professional training of maritime personnel at National University of Science and Technology. In view of the effectiveness of epidemic prevention in Taiwan, the Global Wind Organization GWO invited our university to share with the global wind power training institutions. When the global outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) is severe, our school continues to provide a high-quality and safe professional training environment and take into account the health of trainees and students and teachers on campus.
The seminar was organized by Mr. M. Jakob Lau Holst, Ralph Savage, Director of the School's Marine Training Center, foreign teacher of the Department of The School's Wind Power Training and consultant Jeffukasz Dulka, Manager Li Wanjun of the School's Secretary's Office attended the meeting. Discuss this with global issue around139 people from 33 countries in Europe, Americas, Asia and Africa. President Yang Qingxuan emphasized that National Kauhsiung Unisity of Science and Technology is willing and able to work side by side with international training institutions to make more contributions to the fight against the epidemic.
